On March 29th, the "2019 International Standards and Certification New Trends Seminar for Appliance Switches" jointly organized by CVC Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as CVC) and VDE was successfully held at CVC. Four certified engineer representatives from Dongguan Desung Electronics Co., Ltd. were invited to attend。

It is reported that the new version of DIN EN/IEC 61058-1 (VDE 0630-1): 2018 standard for appliance switches was released in August 2018. CVC and VDE jointly held this seminar to explain the interpretation and certification of the standard in response to the latest needs of enterprises, covering the process of version change, standard differences, testing points, factory audits, etc. Representatives from many appliance switch enterprises such as Dongguan Desung Electronics Co., Ltd. were invited to attend。

At the seminar, Vice General Manager Yang Yu of CVC and General Manager Wu Zhongxuan of VDE China delivered speeches and warmly welcomed the attending representatives. Subsequently, experts from both sides conducted a detailed analysis of the VDE version replacement process and key points for instrument switches, differences and testing points between the old and new IEC standards, VDE factory review requirements, and PM documents. The meeting content accurately addressed the customer's concerns and provided a clear and concise analysis, which was unanimously praised by the on-site representatives。

The successful holding of this seminar has established a multi-party linkage communication platform between enterprises and certification testing institutions, as well as between enterprises. It is conducive to helping enterprises quickly understand the process and technical points of changing the version of instrument switches, deepening the understanding of standards and testing requirements by instrument switch production enterprises, and playing a positive role in promoting the improvement of the quality of instrument switch products。
